That’s how I feel as I approach each and every wedding I document. I care about telling your story, with your unique nuances. I believe you should be able to enjoy yourself, and spend time with your friends and family. I know there is a time to direct and a time to stay out of the way. Fitting seamlessly into your wedding day is of utmost importance to me. So is reading people and situations, so the moment stays authentic for all involved. I’ve perfected my ability to be non-intrusive, yet give guidance when needed in a calm and encouraging way.

I’ll always work to exceed your expectations and to keep you comfortable. I believe that a good relationship between us elevates the experience, and that the more you trust me the more present you’ll be able to be on your wedding day. You’ll make the memories, and I’ll photograph them.

With more than 10 years of photography experience, I specialize in both digital and film, and work comfortably both indoors and out as well as any lighting scenario brought to the table. Attention to detail, creativity, respect, inclusivity, and professionalism are the foundation of my business.

I love living life with my wife, Hannah, who is a freelance hair artist primarily for runway . We enjoy traveling, art, food, wine, and culture. I grew up in Northern California, attended music school in Los Angeles to study drums, and began my career in the wedding industry in North Carolina. Now based in both D.C. with an office in NC, I travel for the majority of my weddings. I hold close to my heart the teachings of Jesus and strive to love, care for and accept people from all walks of life without reservation... as He did.
