As some of you know, we are advising to help bring a new venue to life. It will be set next to a prominent river, and thus we have ideated on several names and wanted to get everyone's input. This venue is being designed around a very specific feeling: water at dusk, soft light, natural materials, and the kind of calm, elevated atmosphere that makes a celebration feel timeless. Your feedback will help us choose the name we’ll build everything around—from signage to stationery to the first toast on the rooftop.
If you can, please take a minute to choose your favorite. That would be super helpful.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful 2026 and looking forward to seeing you all soon.
Some context to each name..
1) Glasswater
A name that feels crisp and reflective—like light skimming across a calm surface. “Glass” suggests clarity and elegance; “water” anchors it in nature and place. It reads modern, clean, and elevated, while still feeling organic.
2) Opaline
Inspired by opal—soft, luminous, and subtly shifting in the light. It evokes that dreamy, pearly glow you get at golden hour and the refined, layered palette we keep coming back to (linen, clay, river stone, dusk tones). It feels romantic without being overly literal.
3) Keepers / Light Keepers
This one is about meaning. “Keepers” suggests stewardship—holding space for memories, gathering people, and keeping moments safe. “Light Keepers” adds a poetic layer: the idea of guiding light at the river’s edge, warmth at dusk, and an atmosphere that feels both intimate and iconic.
